Russia sat by the windowsill, immobile; his eyes transfixed on the world outside. It was a scene he had seen countless times: snow drifting to the ground softly, gently, blanking the ground in pure white. To others it might seem genteel; a peaceful, tranquil winter wonderland.

Humming happily, Russia walked down the garden pathway with a little hop to his step. Suddenly, he spotted a familiar back just a few yards in front of him. Smiling to himself, he lengthened his stride to catch up to the other man.
"Hey!" Russia yelled out, clasping onto Greece's shoulder with one hand, "Watcha doing Greece?" Curious, he looked at the bundle of Hello Kitty products in the Greek's arms.
